A.J. Horner helps individuals and businesses navigate complex, commercial litigation including contract, employment, and commercial leasing disputes. A.J. focuses on advocating through writing by merging empathy, logic, and the law, having reached successful results through persuasive communications. Building on his passion for legal writing, A.J. has served as an adjunct professor of legal writing at his alma mater, Baylor University School of Law. A.J. also has trial experience serving as second chair in a civil jury trial that involved claims of breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Prior to joining Womble Bond Dickinson, A.J. served as a federal law clerk to the Hon. Marcia A. Crone of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas where he gained significant trial experience managing several civil jury trials and a complex, multi-defendant criminal trial on behalf of the court. A.J. also interned for Judge Valerie Zachary of the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske of the Western District of Texas.
