Aaron Pohlmann is a dynamic and experienced litigator, corporate transactional, and regulatory compliance attorney. He has a diverse skill set with extensive knowledge of ERISA, captive insurance, employment law, and life, health, and disability insurance. Since completing a federal judicial clerkship, Aaron has assisted insurers, captive insurance managers, ERISA plan fiduciaries, third-party administrators, and managed healthcare entities in a wide variety of matters across numerous jurisdictions and domiciles.
Aaron received his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and an ACI designation from the International Center for Captive insurance Education (ICCIE).

Aaron is a nine-time contributing author to ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits (American Bar Association, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2020, 2022, 2024) and has written numerous articles on ERISA and Life, Health, and Disability Insurance litigation in various ABA and DRI publications. Aaron has organized and moderated ABA continuing legal education seminars in the areas of HIPAA compliance, disability insurance, and health insurance litigation.
