Dr. Meigs has over 20 years of intellectual property experience in life sciences after beginning her career as a research scientist. She advises clients on a wide-range of IP issues, including global patent portfolio strategy, portfolio life cycle management, freedom-to-operate, patent invalidity, licensing, strategic partnerships, and IP due diligence for potential acquisitions and investments.
Dr. Meigs has specific technical experience in the areas of oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious disease, biologics, antibodies, ADCs, RNA therapies, therapeutic peptides, vaccines, diagnostics, gene editing, genomics, cellular therapies, and stem cell biology.
Dr. Meigs serves on the Board and the Executive Team of the North Carolina Life Sciences Organization (NCLifeSci/formerly NCBIO), the trade association for North Carolina’s life sciences industry.
